Opening the package in Xcode writes .swiftpm/: a workspace file, generated schemes and per-user interface state. None of it is input to swift build or the Makefile, and one file in it already matched the *.xcuserstate rule.

Opening the package in Xcode writes a
.swiftpm/directory: a workspace file, generated schemes,and per-user interface state. It has been sitting untracked for a while.
None of it is input to
swift buildor the Makefile, and one file inside it (UserInterfaceState.xcuserstate)already matched the existing
*.xcuserstaterule, so the directory was half-ignored already.[skip-release]because.gitignoreis not in the release workflow'spaths-ignorelist, somerging this would otherwise cut a release with no shipped change in it.
